it seems like your pictures would be given better justice if shown at a lower res. i kinda messed with it in ps and i think i made it look better.
this is probably you best shot in your gallery .. the top-lighting from the daylight is perfect and the depth of field is dead-on beautiful; it excludes everything in the background. enabling you to focus on the "metalwork" .. the only thing that you should have done was resize the picture as it is far too big for internet viewing .. but is is a really great shot .. you've got potential man .. just keep at it.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
I know about the resizing, I'm working on that ASAP.
in the undoable things I would have liked part , it would be nice if the markings on the bell to be more visible.
On the doable things I would have liked part, seeing your description, I'd tried to have the couple a little more visible, ie a little bit more dof.
Excellent work, though.
I guess the couple becomes more of an afterthought - I saw it through the lens, yet the lens did not. In the end, I attempted to split the difference, forcing some of the sharpness out of the bell markings. Something to work on!
